Im Gedenken an Levin Statzer (1975-2005) gründeten Familie und Freunde den Kunstverein Levin Statzer Urban Art, um in seinem Sinne Künstler und Projekte aus dem Bereich Street / Urban Art zu fördern.
Mit festem Fundament in der Old School des Wiener Graffiti Writings, entwickelte sich, die Foundation wie wir sagen, der Kunstverein LEVIN STATZER URBAN ART, durch jahrelange Unterstützung von Kunstprojekten, Dokumentationsinitiativen, Workshops etc. zu einem Fels in der Brandung der Werteverschiebungen.
Über nun zwei Jahrzehnte hinweg wurde so, neben vielen kleinen Projekten, aus der jährlichen LEVIN JAM aus einem Fundraising Event der eigentliche MIttelpunkt unserer Aktivitäten.
Dieser Mittelpunkt schickt sich nun an, durch Community Cooperation mit anderen urbanen Initiativen, das Gemeinsame durch gemeinsames Auftreten zu verstärken. So machen wir in Zeiten des Kommerzialisierungsdruckes und der Leistungsgewalt klar, es geht auch anders.
Urban Art, Urban living. Unsere Strassen sind versiegelt. Unsere Herzen nicht.
Die Aktivitäten der Foundation werden durch Sponsorengelder, Fördermittel der öffentlichen Hand, private Spenden und den Einsatz unserer vielen ehrenamtlichen Mitarbeiter ermöglicht.

In memory of Levin Statzer (1975-2005) his family and friends decided to initiate a foundation with the goal of supporting talents in the field of urban / street art.
Firmly rooted in the „old school“ era of vienna’s graffiti writing, the registered initiative „LEVIN STATZER URBAN ART„, or „the foundation“ as we call it, started out supporting related art projects, documentation efforts, workshops etc and grew into a unwavering beacon in the maelstrom of changing values.
In these 20 years of our activities, the annual LEVIN JAM , once a simple fundraising event, became the true center of our activities. Eventually this center begins to expand by „community cooperations“ with the goal to make use of synergies and strengthen common goals, against the pressure of commercialization and strict performance orientation. To simply show, that there are alternatives.
Urban Art, Urban Living. Our streets are made of concrete, our hearts are not.
The foundations multitude of activities are realised with the help of commercial sponsors, public funds, private donations and most of all the commitment of our many honorary members.
